Dr. Chan Kin Keung

Due to the constant pressures and mental oppression faced by moderns, they often experience unhappiness in life. In more severe cases, it can lead to physical and psychological health issues, and in the most extreme situations, it can result in community tragedies, perpetuating social problems. Recognizing this, Dr. Chan Kin Keung and Ms. Law Mei Ling officially founded the “Life Enlightenment Charity Foundation” Limited in 2008. With the motto “Life Lights Up Life”, the goal is to enable moderns to achieve holistic well-being and balanced “holistic development”.

Dr. Chan Kin Keung went overseas to his higher education in both America and England. He got his Bachelor’s Degrees in Oregon, and then his Master’s Degree from Stanford University of U.S.A. Later on, he continued to read for and received his Ph.D. degree at the University of Nottingham, U.K. After his return to Hong Kong, he served as a high school teacher for one year, before joining the Hong Kong higher education sector as a teaching staff for 35 years till his retirement. In his last tenure position, he was an Associate Professor, as well as a doctoral supervisor, in the Department of Asian and International Studies of the City University of Hong Kong for 29 years before his retirement.

Dr. Chan Kin Keung diligently carries out various cultural and educational activities by launching a series of “life and death education” courses. He also publishes a large number of books, pamphlets, and multimedia products, making a profound impact on the public. The beneficiaries and followers are countless. His efforts have made significant and meaningful contributions to the advancement and elevation of human spiritual civilization.

Ms. Law Mei Ling

She also edits the two bimonthly magazines of “Lake of Lotus” and the “Life Enlightenment”, and has contributed more than 130 types of multimedia teaching materials on “life and death education” for past years. The beneficiaries and followers are countless. Her efforts have made significant and meaningful contributions to the advancement and elevation of human spiritual civilization.
